Privacy notice
This notice covers only the data collected through this page when you join the Temposy waitlist. It is not the privacy policy of the Temposy app — that will be provided separately when you register for the service. Here we explain only what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
In short
- If you sign up, we collect your email (plus optional area, profile and a short message).
- We measure how the page is used anonymously (first-party analytics, IP anonymised).
- We use it to gauge interest and notify you at launch. Nothing more.
- No third-party ad trackers. We never sell or rent your data.
- You can request access or deletion anytime: privacy@temposy.com.
01 Data controller
The controller of the data collected through this page is Edoardo Marceddu (Milan, Italy).
For any privacy matter or to exercise your rights: privacy@temposy.com.
02 What data we collect
a) Data you provide (waitlist form)
- Email address — the only field required to sign up.
- Optional data — your area/city, the type of user you are (e.g. organiser or attendee) and an optional free-text message, if you choose to fill them in.
- Consent to be contacted when the service goes live, with the date you gave it.
b) Data collected automatically (page analytics)
To understand whether the page works and which version communicates better, we collect usage statistics on our own servers (first-party analytics, with no external advertising platforms):
- A random pseudonymous identifier (visitor/session) stored in a technical cookie, and the A/B variant of the page you were shown.
- Page interactions: page views, scroll depth, sections viewed, button clicks, time on page, form start/submit.
- Technical browser context: language, screen size, device and browser type (from the user-agent).
- Source: referrer and any campaign parameters (UTM).
- Country and a non-reversible hash of your IP address: the full IP is not stored; we turn it server-side into a hash used only to distinguish sessions and avoid double counting.
We do not collect your name, password, payment data or special categories of data. This page does not create any account.
03 Why we process the data and on what basis
- Waitlist sign-up and launch notification (plus any launch updates) — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Measuring interest and improving this page through aggregate, pseudonymous statistics (with the IP anonymised) — legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in assessing the project's viability, balanced to minimise impact on you.
04 Cookies and similar technologies
We use only cookies and technologies strictly tied to running this page:
- tps_ab — technical cookie (HttpOnly, up to 12 months): keeps the A/B variant you see stable and groups requests from the same session. It is needed to run the test correctly.
- First-party statistics — the data stays with us and is never sent to advertising networks. No profiling cookies, no cross-site tracking, no resale.
05 How long we keep it
- Email and form data: until the service launches or you request deletion, and in any case no longer than 12 months after the sign-up collection ends, after which it is deleted.
- Statistics: for the duration of the collection, in pseudonymous/aggregate form. When we reset the collected data, sessions, events and emails are permanently deleted.
06 Who we share it with, and where
Data is processed on AWS cloud infrastructure with servers in the European Union. Technical providers (e.g. hosting) act as data processors, only on our behalf.
We do not sell or rent data to third parties for marketing. We may disclose it to competent authorities only where legally required.
07 Your rights
At any time you can exercise the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR:
- Access — get a copy of your data.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request removal of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction and objection — restrict or object to the processing.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured format.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise them, write to privacy@temposy.com: we reply within 30 days.
08 Complaints
If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can contact the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali): garanteprivacy.it. If you are outside Italy, you may contact your local data protection authority.
09 Minors
This page is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we become aware that we have, we delete it.
10 Changes
We may update this notice over time. The date at the top always indicates the version in force.
